Hugh Thompson

Before embarking on a career in law,  Hugh worked as a scientist with a fascination for all things protein chemistry and biophysics, having researched everything from photosynthesis to cancer drugs.

Prior to joining us in September 2022 mid-way through his training contract, Hugh gained substantial experience in corporate, commercial and intellectual property law.

Now a valued member of our Commercial and Tech team, Hugh provides invaluable support to our Senior Solicitors and has quickly proved his ability to work independently on complex tasks. He is the main point of contact for many of our clients and has built a reputation for being a very safe pair of hands.  

When away from his desk, Hugh loves going to the gym, cooking (and eating!) and attempting to improve his written and spoken Spanish, having previously lived in Spain.
